Judas Priest — Painkiller

I’ve noticed that I’ve been listening to more heavy metal stuff lately, than I did before. So I might try to explore the genre a bit more during the next few weeks.

Judas Priest is a heavy metal band from Birmingham formed in 1969. The Painkiller album released in 1990, was the band’s attempt to move into a much more speedier metal sound resulting in being one of the best metal albums of the decade and became a huge influence on european power metal bands.

What can I say of this song? The drum solo in the begining left me speechless. And there are also two breathtaking guitar solos here and there. I just can say WOW. This was intense.
